The project formerly known as Project Needlemouse has a new title in the form of....the thread of this title, w00t! 
Set to be released as a downloadable game on all 3 current-gen consoles, it is. About time Sega decided to go back to their roots. No more guns, no more filler characters, and thank GOD no more swords! xD

In the video he looks like he isn't running, but rather just light jogging. LOLZ.
Episodes anoy me, but I'ma must likely buy them. Should have been on disc.

Hopefully it'll be worth it. 2D Sonic games is one asset that Sega & Sonic Team excel at tbh imo tbh.

His run animation looks a little stiff... other than that it looks really good
I really wanna be excited for this game but I keep remembering the tragedy that was Sonic 06

I'd most likely play it. It looks like it has the nice side-scrolling gameplay the good Sonic games have, but no pixelly sprites.
I've always thought of Sega as a hero, and finally they're saving their best series.

When I started watching the gameplay, I thought it was New Super Mario Bros. Wii at first.
